Norse Women's Clothing (and the Graves that Made Them)

Class Title
Norse Women's Clothing (and the Graves that Made Them)
Class Description

There is scant textile evidence regarding what Norse women wore during the Viking Age, but we'll take a look at what reconstructions can be made from that evidence. We'll look at (probably) typical layers, what they were (probably) made of, how they were (probably) worn, and what purpose it all served.
